“We felt that the overall experience was excellent and the Ice Hotel and snow sauna were very unique experiences. However, we were asked to be at the meeting point 1/2 hour prior to the start of the experience. That seemed somewhat excessive, but we were willing to do that to prevent any unnecessary delays. But when the bus transporting us came 15 to 20 minutes late, it meant that we had to stand out in the cold for approximately 45 minutes for absolutely no reason whatsoever. If you are going to demand punctuality from your guests, you should make sure that the transportation is punctual as well.Read more”

The bus did not collect us and another family, we were all there early and waiting about 40 minutes, the bus did not turn up. Called Apukka resort and they said the bus had turned up. We disputer this. Had to get an Uber to get us there in time for the start. It all felt a bit rushed to sit down have food and then get into winter clothing. Food was delicious. Husky ride was fun and petting the dogs afterwards was lovely, tubing great, my family tried skiing for the first time. Our daughter…”

“A great place for fun in the snow with your children. Sledges / rings provided for going down the main slope, kids loved it. Little wooden huts dotted about with log fires lit you could just go and sit in. Moss to feed the reindeers which the kids enjoyed doing. Restaurant is lovely, fire, lovely big windows looking out on the snow, good wines available and lovely food- staff really lovely too. Kids books etc & packs of cards available to use. Couldn’t do the ice skating as had rained the day before and warmed up a bit (was above freezing) so ice skating not on. Didn’t do the sauna…”
